FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Where DO I go WHEN I Get there?
When you arrive, you will encounter our friendly Connection Team. Any one of these team members will be able to help you locate the kid’s ministry and nursery, bathrooms, BC Cafe, and/or help assist you in any way. Feel free to ask them questions. They are excited to serve you and your family!
If arriving early, feel free to check your children into BC Kids and enjoy a drink and snack from our coffee shop, The BC Cafe while you wait for service to begin.
What if I have a baby or small child I don’t want to check into the nursery or BC Kids?
You and your child are welcome to sit in the service together. We understand that small children can’t sit for an hour, so if your child may become a little busy (as kids do from time to time) and you must leave the service at any point, we have two environments in which you can comfortably hear the message. One of our Connection Team members may politely ask you to transition from the worship auditorium into one of these environments (lobby or BC Cafe) where you can enjoy the message with your child and he/she will have the freedom to play.
How long are the services & What should i expect during?
Our worship experiences last roughly around 1 hour each. We typically begin by singing a few worship songs together and then listening to an engaging message by our lead pastor or one of our other talented speakers. To get an idea of what a Sunday morning worship experience is like, follow us on Facebook or YouTube and check out our archives.
Will I be welcome if…?
Whatever your fear is of not fitting in, whatever background you come from, or whatever baggage you bring with you, you are welcome at Bethel and we want you to know that YOU BELONG!
Where Do my kids go?
BC Kids is the children’s ministry at Bethel Church. In BC Kids, children fifth grade and below learn about and experience Jesus on their level. BC Kids is designed to be a safe, age-appropriate environment where children engage in singing worship songs, learning Bible lessons, and participating in small group activities. For more information about what your children will experience in BC Kids, check out our BC Kids page here. BC Kids >
What will my teenage children do?
On Sundays, we encourage students in grades 6-12 to sit with teenagers their age in our BC Youth section located at the front-right of the auditorium. However, your teens are more than welcome to sit with you if they’d rather. We know church services can be boring for a teenager, but that is not the case at Bethel – teenagers love our Sunday morning worship experiences! Each Wednesday night at 7pm, we host BC Youth Nights specifically designed to engage your 6-12 grade student in worship, serving, and learning how to biblically navigate their turbulent teenage years.
What is the Music like?
Our Music is very engaging and we sing 3-4 songs most Sundays varying in style and tempo. We have what most would consider a contemporary worship style. During our worship time, you'll see people lift their hands and will sometimes hear one of our worship leaders encourage the congregation to lift their hands as a sign of surrender. The music is loud but not too loud. The vision of the worship team is for people to worship and for God to move.
